Our team, Narda Shirley, Director - Gong Communications
Narda Shirley is a serial PR entrepreneur. She moved from a career with IT research house Gartner Group in 1991 to be a founding partner in consumer and B2B agency, Generation Associates. Her work there for blue chip brands like BroadVision, Reebok and Royal Mail provided the impetus to go it alone, and in 1997, Gnash Communications was launched.
Gnash helped build the profiles of some of the most iconic brands to come out of the 'new economy' era – amongst them Lastminute.com, First Tuesday and Excite. The 'establishment' followed and Gnash signed up leading firms including Atlas Venture, KPMG and McKinsey's 'incubator'. The firm expanded rapidly to become the country's fastest growing PR firm of 2000, with a turnover of £2.5m in just three years.
Following the success of Gnash, Narda worked on a consultancy basis until launching Gong Communications in 2005.
