The client
Fifty Lessons is a world-leading digital video business library that uses the power of storytelling to pass on the learning of the world's most successful business leaders to the next generation. Disseminated across multiple media platforms, its content is also distributed globally by partners including Harvard Business School Publishing.
The context
Gong Communications was approached to help grow Fifty Lessons' profile, and devise and lead its launch communications. With a requirement to work closely with the founders and legal team on the company's tone of voice, we were also asked to oversee the presentation of all communications material and its accompanying copyright assignment process.
The programme and results
Whilst operating a fully functioning press office for Fifty Lessons in the UK we worked concurrently to refine communication of its brand heritage, handled the international communications activity when it launched in the US, and took the company's senior management through a media training programme.
Furthermore, we instigated a partnership with our client Heidrick & Struggles to create two bespoke business books featuring the Fifty Lessons content. The first was sent by Heidrick & Struggles to the chief executive of every FTSE 250 company as a unique Christmas gift. Designed to create standout and brand recall, it was so well received that a second book was commissioned the following year.
