Bowen Craggs is an independent website effectiveness consultancy that helps organisations increase the return on investment in their online presence.
The context
In March 2008 we were approached to increase the international reach of the second annual FT Bowen Craggs Index, a unique ranking of the world's 75 largest companies' websites. The Index scores corporate websites for overall usability and their effectiveness in serving stakeholders including investors and the media.
The programme and results
To support Bowen Craggs' business development strategy our PR activity focused on international business publications, broadcast media and key global markets.
Prior to publication of the Index, we secured coverage in global titles spanning Management Today, Italy's Il Sole 24 Ore, the Russian business newspaper Vedomosti, FT Deutschland, the US edition of PR Week, and Reuters TV. Considerable further internet coverage was also generated.
The impact of the programme was rapid and measurable, and registrations over the period increased by 900%.
